Choy Commons Wholesale
Choy Commons Wholesale is a cooperative marketing program that enables Gentle Time Farm, Star Route Farm, and Choy Division to sell our produce collaboratively. Our consolidated inventory of predominantly East Asian vegetables and herbs is offered from May to November, with weekly delivery to restaurants, mutual aid groups, and food access distributors in New York City.
Buying from Choy Commons gets you access to delicious Asian vegetables while empowering farmers to be in control of the mechanisms of our own production.

Only .07% of farmers in the United States identify as Asian. Racism is foundational in today's food system, which explains why communities of color suffer the most from resource inequality and environmental externalities and why most organic farming is mostly done by white people for other white people. Eating and growing food should not be a source of shame, stress, punishment, and discomfort - it should be a form of empowerment for both consumers and growers. We intervene in the face of ongoing social and environmental irresponsibility and promote the greater dependence of locally available foods grown by BIPOC farmers like us. We see working together, instead of seeing each other as competition, growing food for mutual-aid, while acknowledging that we also deserve the chance to make our operations financially solvent, as ways to help create the thriving and equitable food system we want.
